Cruella's First So Called "Supervised Visit" (Part 3 The Dramatic Conclusion)

It was well after midnight when we all arrived at the police station. My dad had followed me there. I had asked the officer in charge to please allow my dad to bring the children home, however that was not allowed so instead they slept in his car while I sat inside in the waiting room as Cruella, her brother Dilbert and Big Cruella were brought inside for questioning. Needless to say, I was pretty pissed-off and paced back and forth in the lobby for over an hour awaiting my turn to speak.

Well my turn never came. At 1:35 am officer Jack Meoff emerged from the interrogation room to tell me, and i quote, "Your not going to like what I have to say here, but my hands are tied." "What now." I replied. " Well, unfortunately, I'm going to have to arrest you," he says. "Arrest me!?... for what!??" I exclaimed in complete and utter disbelief. " I have an Order of Protection and Visitation Order which clearly state that my children were to be returned to me at 9:00 pm and that she was to be supervised at all times! When I arrived at the hospital, it was almost 10:30 pm and she was attempting to leave with my children and her sister, the supposed supervisor was long gone! As far as I'm concerned they should both be arrested!" I retorted.

He then proceeded to explain to me that she did not violate her orders because she and Dizzie were in contact with the police all day. Apparently, shortly after I had dropped them off they took Princess to the hospital and left the other three at Dizzie's house with Uncle Woodchuck. He told me that they had made some very serious accusations against me that had to be taken seriously. He did not want to specifically tell me that they alleged that I was sexually abusing my then 3 year old daughter and that they put her through an internal exam, sexual abuse testing and called Child Protective Services. He did however tell me that all of the allegations were disproved and CPS determined that I should retain custody and could now send the children home with my father but I would have to spend the night in jail because Cruella also had an Order of Protection against me. My order against her was 4 pages long and a complete "stay away" while her's against me was purely retaliatory and one sentence long. It simply stated that I could not threaten, harass, stalk or intimidate her.

"Well," says officer Jack, "When you blocked her in like that at the hospital, she claims she felt intimidated." "Are you fucking kidding me!" is exactly what I said. He then proceeded to stroke me some more telling me how bad he felt about all of this and how it was plain as day that Cruella was off her rocker, but because she stated that she felt intimidated, I had to be arrested. He can't tell someone that they're lying in respect to they're "feelings." So, he was a swell enough guy to escort me outside to tell my father that I was being aressted and that he could now go home with my children. I won't even get into the choice words that he has for officer Jack and the town police. So at almost 2:00am my dad left with the kids and I was arrested for harassment, got processed and thrown into a jail cell.

At 8:00 am the following morning I was arraigned and R.O.R.'d. I was due back in court the following week and now had to deal with the fact that in one hour was Cruella's next scheduled visit and as long as Dizzie still intended on supervising, I had to not only allow it but get them there or face being charged with obstruction of Cruella's visitation schedule. I called my sister in law Mary, Cruella's brother Luke's wife. I explained everything that had happened. She was dumbfounded and told me that she would see if maybe Luke could talk Dizzie out of supervising anymore visits. I thanked her and told her that I hoped that he would be successful because there was no way on God's geen earth that I was going to allow it anyway, order or no order.

Well, Luke came through for me! Not only did he get Dizzie to say she would not supervise anymore visits; he got it in writing and was pulling out of Dizzie's driveway just as Cruella was pulling in. I can only imagine the chaos that ensued when Cruella got up to the house. I went and got my kids, who amazingly enough were relatively un-phased by the whole ordeal. It's both amazing and scary what you can get used to!

So as not to leave you hangin' too much... The harassment charges were thrown out (after three appearances and another $1,500.00 in legal fees of course) and... for the next month Cruella had no visitation and then for the following three months she got 1 hour every Saturday, professionally supervised in a room at the Court House.

She had not seen her children in over a month and when she was given her opportunity, this is what she did with it! I think that night in jail is when I realized just how truly sick she really is and just how deep the rabbit hole goes!

  5. This is really sad...the lengths some mental case will go through. Putting a child through an exam for sexual abuse for no other reason than to get back at you is totally sick. She hates you more than she loves her kids. Can't a judge strip her of her rights for all of this crap? I really hate the family court systems.

  6. Yes syn, it is sad... Tragic really, in so many different ways... and as far as the "system" goes... it SUCKS! 3 years and $30,000.00 in legal fees later I've realized that stripping a mother of all her parental rights is virtually impossible even if she puts the baby in the microwave to dry her off after a bath!

  10. Young Children are always the one who hit the hardest when their parents split up. I was a bit relieved that the children could go through all of this drama intact, but I am sure if it's just they didn't understand what was going on yet or they just didn't have any more feelings toward their mother. Anyway, I hope you and your children can get past this chapter of your life and move on to the next better and brighter chapter.
